Bran Mazz is a singer, songwriter, producer and musician. Born in Birmingham, he has been playing on stage since the tender age of 9 years old and has previously performed as everything from a James Brown tribute act, to a Bruno Mars tribute act, but more recently has started recording and releasing singles under his own name. His sound is a smooth mix of funk and r&b, with a clever pop twist, that keeps it modern and is guaranteed to get the audience dancing.
In 2016 he released his debut single ‘Wrapped Up,’ the music video for which cleverly features friends miming along to the song, capturing the fun and youthful vibe that can be heard in his music.
Mazz has also been played on BBC Sussex and Surreys introducing and Guildford's local radio station Eagle 3, and recently released his second single, ‘When I'm Alone' on the 17th February. His smooth, charasmatic and electrifying stage presence combined with a huge amount of genuine talent makes him an artist you can't forget quickly.
Bran Mazz has super electric stage energy which livened the room immediately as he quickly introduced himself and then went straight into playing. He played a mix of songs, and including his debut single 'Wrapped Up' to close the set, the audience loved it, and were eagerly singing and dancing along, encouraged by Bran.
During Mazz’s set he also demonstrated his ability to play multiple instruments, and throughout the set played the guitar, keyboards and even at one point bought out a saxophone.
Back up by soul singers, Tahirah- Halina Joyce Andrews and Aisha Pacquette, who’s killer voices, beautifully complemented Bran Mazz's songs. The contagious feel of good energy on stage was a thrill to watch and spread into the audience, especially when he took the time to introduce each band mate and warmly thanked each of the talented members on stage. It was great to witness the combination of some incredibly talented people and the happiness that is created from it. Magic.
